Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks-2-1024x767Thomas Jeffrey Hanks, born July 9, 1956, is an American actor. He is well-known for his dramatic and comedic role. Hanks is an American popular culture icon. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was the child of Janet Marylyn, a hospital worker, as well as Amos Mefford Hanks (an itinerant chef). His mother was originally named "Fraga" while his father was English. Tom was born into the family he refers to as "fractured". He was not an actor in college, and attributes his inability to get a role in a college production with launching his career. He was an auditioner in the downtown area of Cleveland for a community theatre play. Then the audition, he was invited to Cleveland by the director. This was the point where his acting career began.
