Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American Actress who performed a variety of characters on television, in movies as well as the stage. She was awarded various awards, such as an Emmy Award, the Daytime Emmy Award as well as a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. She is well known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the popular television show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). Her mother is the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Her professional journey began in the beginning. Her first appearance came aged four, when she appeared on T is for Tumbleweed. Oscar nominations were made for the documentary. The mother and daughter sat down for many hours together on set, learning about the business. Lockhart has even appeared in numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory, 1972 was Lockhart's first film. She played Joan Crawford's daughter in The Sixth Sense, a 1972 TV series. Joan was the last actress to appear in the series. It is believed that Anne turned down the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter stated the actress was his primary choice for the part, but she refused. Anne isn't aware of getting offered the role from John Carpenter or being offered the job. The possibility is that her agent turned it off without notifying Anne. Glen Larson sent her an early draft of a script that she was to use as a character in 1978's television series Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the role because the character didn't seem to be strong enough. Glen invented a new role for her, using Sheba being a more formidable role model. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she had read, was immediately accepted. It lasted for just one season. She appeared in Joyride (1977), a film in which she co-starred as well as was in the film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
