Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Along with BJJ, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put a black mark on Ladd's record as an amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and.
